 The percent of high school
students who report having used any illicit drug during the last
year appears to have increased from 1991 through 1996. The percent
of 8th Grade High school students who report having used any illicit
drug during the past year increased from around 11% in 1991 to
almost 25% in 1996. The percent of 10th Grade High school students
who report having used any illicit drug during the past year increased
from around 20% in 1991 to over 35% in 1996. The percent of 12th
Grade High school students who report having used any illicit
drug during the past year increased from around 30% in 1991 to
around 40% in 1996. |
