Plants in the Goldie Tank

Thought I'd share some pics of the plants in my goldie tank. They're planted in topsoil with a gravel overlayer.

Left side with Lumpy (12/2/04):

Left side with Stripe (who has no stripe anymore!), Coco, Bugsy and a very cool ramshorn snail perched on a stem of anacharis:

I clean out one end of the tank every two weeks or so. Here are the plants on the left side of the tank in early December.

An amazon sword (Echinodorus amazonicus) that looks happy.

Bronze Wendetti that's very happy.

Wysteria. growing like crazy.

Mid December, 2004... the right side of the tank.

Here's the hygro. This stuff grows like crazy. Started with only 3 stems maybe 2 months ago.

And a brazil sword (Spathiophyllum tasson) which isn't a true aquatic plant. It's going in the plant filter.

The large one is a Radican sword (Echinodorus cordifolius) and the smaller is supposed to be a Red Melon sword (Echinodorus barthii) but it could also be a Rubin sword (Echinodorus x. Rubin).

Sunset hygro. This stuff also grows like crazy.
