2/25/04 - Something new... The fin under Lumpy's tail appears inflamed. Started feeding Medi-Gold
The white dots are sand.
2/26/04 - 36 hours later. Looks like most of the inflamed area has sloughed off. Some splitting evident on the end his tail.

2/27/04 - After 24 hours in antibac bath. It's hard ot get decent pics as he's in an ice chest, but it looks like there's no deterioration in his fins.

2/28/04 - 48 hour Antibac bath is finished. It looks like there's no further deterioration in his fins. The red apears to be gone from the fin with the area that sloughed off. The other fin looks the same. No fraying on the rest of his fins.
I don't see the red area on his butt anymore, but the one on his belly is still there. The inset is the affected area enlarged.

The white stuff on the top of his tail looks somewhat better. Maybe wishful thinking.
3/9/04 - He's lethargic, sitting on the bottom of the tank. Is not eating. There's new deterioration on his tail and another fin. First tricide-Neo dip.
3/13/04 - Two days after dipping him daily for 3 days in Tricide-Neo (3/9-3/11). His appetite is back. He still rests a lot. Still some white edges in places on his fin and tail.

3/21/04 - He's doing a lot better. Eating fine. There's no new deterioration on his tail.
3/31/04 - He's doing a lot better. Pretty active for him. Eating fine. There's no new deterioration on the edges of his tail fins. There's a new bump on the top ray of the left tail fin--Looks like a larger version of the chronic white stuff that's been going on since December.
4/10/04 - He's doing a lot better. Pretty active for him. Eating fine. There's no new deterioration on the edges of his tail fins. Tnew bump on the top ray of the left tail fin is gone.
